The second cheapest guitar in the APX range but without compromise on high quality, playability and pure performance power.

Offered in a eye-catching choice of all-gloss body colours, the entry-level APX500 has all the hallmarks that have made APXs world-beating electro-acoustics. The compact, cutaway design provides excellent handling comfort and high-position access, while the deeper sides add warmth and richness to the acoustic tone.

Powered punch and tonal flexibility are guaranteed with a newly designed three-band preamp, whose adjustable midband frequency covers a broad 80Hz - 10kHz range. This not only allows control over the midrange but enables reshaping part of the low and high bands in addition to the dedicated bass and treble sliders.

APX500 Preamp System
One way systems utilized in the APX500 feature a piezo pickup mounted under the saddle. The newly designed preamp section provides a 3-band EQ along with an Adjustable Midrange frequency control that offers an extensive range of tonal variation. All controls are placed close to the playing position for quick access while performing.

X Bracing
Next to the selection of the woods, one of the most critical factors affecting the overall tone of the guitar is the bracing of the guitar top. The steel string APX models utilize an X Bracing design that is placed closer to the sound hole to provide greater bass response from the instrument.
