The Lehle 1@3 is designed to allow switching as a real
True Bypass Switcher via gold-plated relays. You can switch between
either three amps (A, B or C) or two amps and one loop. The input signal
can only be routed to one output. When using the loop, the effects are
connected to C and C->B. So you can switch smoothly between the direct
(B) and the effect signal (C).
1.
Input signal The input signal enters this jack. It is automatically
routed to A if the Lehle 1@3 is not active, and B and C are therefore
muted.
2. Loop (Return) If this jack is assigned and C is activated, the signal
applied here is routed to B. In this way, effect units can be serially
routed into the amp, which is connected to B. Effects which influence
your sound even when not active can thus be bypassed by pressing the B
button. This means that they are in the signal path only when they are
really needed.
3. Output The signal is routed with no semiconductors directly via
gold-plated relays to Output A, B or C provided the corresponding button
has been pressed. The input signal can only be routed to one output. The
other two outputs are therefore muted. In case of a power unit failure
the signal will be routed to A.
4. Power supply The Lehle 1@3 requires a power supply of between 8 and
20 V. Polarity is of no importance. The supply voltage is internally
rectified and stabilized in order to guarantee trouble-free operation. A
thermal cut-out automatically trips and switches the unit off if a
short-circuit occurs. A correctly fitting plug connector for the
power-supply jack of the Lehle 1@3 is supplied. This can be soldered to
the required power unit if necessary.
5. Master-Slave with other switchers Each Lehle 1@3 can be easily
retrofitted with a DIN socket in order to permit parallel operation with
other Lehle switches in master/slave mode.
6. LEDs behind a magnifying lens The high-intensity LEDs installed
behind a magnifying lens make it easy to read the switching state (A, B
or C) even under spotlights.
7. Indestructible switching mechanism The buttons which control State A,
B or C are actuated inside the switch by means of a virtually
indestructible switching mechanism.
8. Solid box / easy to fix The base of the Lehle 1@3 can be secured
without difficulty. First remove the four housing screws for the cover,
and then screw the base of the switch to a base-plate using the two
screws supplied with the unit, the washers and the spacer elements.
